Katrin Eggenberger heads the World Economic Forum’s Community of Chairpersons, which is comprised of over 100 of the world’s most influential chairpersons of large corporations who meet to discuss in an informal and trusted manner the key challenges they face today. She works closely with Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, on a new global platform for start-ups and tech entrepreneurs called UpLink and has staffed him on travel to over 25 countries. Prior to these roles, Katrin was Visiting Researcher at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and joined the LISD (Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination) at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Her PhD dissertation, “Solving Corporation Problems over International Taxation: Power, Legitimacy and Sovereignty,” is supervised by Joseph Stiglitz. Previously, she worked at several financial institutions in Liechtenstein and Switzerland and competed for years in team sports internationally.
